Leaving the Sinking Netherlands

I found the following post at Dutch Cheese and American Pie. It is a blog describing a young Hollander's attempts to emigrate since the killing of Theo Van Gogh. Is this the future of Europe? Why would an "oh so sophisticated" European want to live in an America populated with "rednecks, Christians and warmongers"? Let me see if I understand. Our young people sacrifice lives and limbs to whip the Radical Islamicists while the Euroweenies vilify us, and when we succeed, the whole continent of Europe comes here to live. Will there be room? Oh, yes indeedy, when we rid the land of those "rednecks, Christians and warmongers". Read my post "Muslims Inherit the Netherlands".

More reasons to leave this sinking ship...

...or why I didn't feel like blogging, and why dad asked my forgiveness for bringing me in this world...

Mohammed Bouyeri shot Mr. van Gogh, slit his throat and left a five-page letter on his chest stabbed under a knife.

Dutch Muslim school damaged by bomb blast. Second school (NL) is burning as I write.

Geert Wilders, a Dutch politician receives a letter addressing him as “ugly dog”. It told him he would soon be beheaded.

Goodbye Netherlands as I knew it.

Islam will celebrate victory by the blood of the martyrs. There will be no mercy for the wicked, only the sword will be raised against them. No discussion, no demonstrations, no parades, no petitions, only death will separate truth from lies.

I forgive you dad.

And here is another of the young Dutchman's posts. I wish him luck, as I would imagine it is not an easy road to get the proper papers to immigrate from Europe to the United States.

Emigration is bad

This morning we watched a TV show about emigration. There was a panel of ‘experts’ and one of them basically said emigration is a negative thing. “Instead of fleeing for your problems you should stay here and help Holland make a better place.”

No thank you. People that come forth, trying to change this country for the better, risk getting killed (Pim Fortuyn, Theo van Gogh, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Geert Wilders). Only people striving for status quo are welcome here. Please don’t do anything out of the ordinary. (Doe maar gewoon dan doe je al gek genoeg.) And why let my thinking be limited to this little country? Why not try make the world a better place instead of just Holland. When we move to the US and stay long enough to be given the right to vote, we can influence American politics. And on a global scale, what country has more impact?
