Russian Sues Over Space Fireworks

The incredible NASA mission during the early hours of July 4th, 2005, that created a real world-wide fireworks show visible to those with telescopes has resulted in a $300 million lawsuit by a Russian astrologer, Marina Bai.

The U.S. space agency's Deep Impact was deliberately crashed into the comet, Tempel 1, and punched a crater into it, all done in the furtherance of scientific discovery. The Russian woman claims that the event 'ruins the natural balance of forces in the universe,' and caused her 'moral sufferings'. She had earlier claimed that the explosion would 'deform her horoscope.'
