Firefox - the Fascist Browser

First thing on my agenda this morning is to uninstall Mozilla's Firefox Browser from my computers. I will replace Firefox with Chrome, Yes, I know Google spies on us all, but what I did not know is that some browsers are Fascists - like Firefox. And I know that Fascists and Fascism are far more dangerous to living things than are spies.

Mozilla CEO Brendan Eich forced to resign for supporting traditional marriage laws

"I don't want to talk about my personal beliefs because I kept them out of Mozilla all these 15 years we've been going,” Eich told The Guardian. “I don't believe they're relevant.” That wasn't an option. "CEO Brendan Eich should make an unequivocal statement of support for marriage equality," a Credoaction petition signed by almost 75,000 people said, per The Inquirer. "If he cannot, he should resign. And if he will not, the board should fire him immediately."

TODAY’S MOST OMINOUS NEWS STORY … is the resignation of Brendan Eich as CEO of Mozilla, the company that makes the Firefox browser. Eich is a superstar in the world of technology; among other things, he invented Javascript and was one of the founders of Mozilla.

Revolution is Here

Antonio Gramsci, born 1891, was a journalist and one of Italy's most influential writers. In his writings, Gramsci accepted Marx's assertion that perpetual struggle between the ruling class and the subordinate working class was the driving mechanism that ultimately made social progress possible. But he rejected the notion that direct physical coercion by police and armies was the method of choice for achieving and maintaining victory in that struggle. Rather, Gramsci held that if a population at large could, for a period of time, be properly indoctrinated with a new “ideology”—specifically, a set of values, beliefs, and worldviews consistent with Marxist principles—a Marxist system could be sustained indefinitely and without coercion or force. In short, Gramsci held that Marxists needed to focus their efforts on gaining “hegemony” (i.e., control or dominion) over the core beliefs of non-Marxist societies; to change the population's understanding of what constitutes basic common sense.

Such a development, said Gramsci, would never occur naturally as a result of some inexorable, unseen, “historical laws” that Marx had accepted as axiomatic. Rather, Gramsci called for Marxists to actively spread their ideology in a gradual, incremental, stealth manner, by infiltrating all existing societal institutions and embedding it, largely without being noticed, in the popular mind. This, he emphasized, was to be an evolutionary, rather than a revolutionary, process that, over a period of decades, would cause an ever-increasing number of people to embrace Marxist thought, until at last it achieved hegemony. Gramsci described this approach as a “long march through the institutions.” Among the key institutions that would need to be infiltrated were the cinema and theater, the schools and universities, the seminaries and churches, the media, the courts, the labor unions, and at least one major political party. According to Gramsci, these institutions constituted society's “superstructure,” which, if captured and reshaped by Marxists, could lead the masses to abandon capitalism of their own volition, entirely without resistance or objection.

In this regard, Gramsci’s views bore a great resemblance to those of the famed godfather of community organizing, Saul Alinsky, who likewise viewed Revolution as a slow, patient process requiring the stealth penetration of existing institutions that could then be transformed from within.

Identification of Authoritarian Societies:

• cult of personality 
• populist appeals to emotion and nationalism
• determination to viciously eliminate political opponents
• blatant disregard for individual freedoms
• government control of the media
• theft of private property
• taking political advantage of any crisis ("Never let a good crisis go to waste.")
• manipulation of children as political tools
• attacks on free trade
• propagation of "Big Lies"
• ubiquitous use of political symbols
• an ostentatious elite class possessing rights and privileges unavailable to others. 

This is why Obama, Hitler, and Lenin are conflated.

What Is Fascism?

Defining Fascism is most difficult, as there is great disagreement amongst the experts. The term was coined in 1922, when Mussolini, the Italian dictator who was initially a Marxist, came to realize that Italy could not obtain foreign investment as a Communist nation. So, employing a word derived from the Roman "Fasces," which meant a bound bundle of sticks with a protruding ax, symbolizing unity of  people under authority of the state, Italy's Benito Mussolini invented Fascism.

During the twentieth century, the European nations of Italy, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Germany, plus Argentina in Latin America each adopted a Fascist-style of government. Mostly these nations preserved private property as a means to serve the state. Their economies were put under control of a government bureaucracy that set wages, prices, and profits. Although large industries were forced to comply, the companies were rewarded with elimination of competition and guaranteed financial returns.

Characteristics defining a Fascist state include:

• A charismatic dictator 
• Disdain and elimination of parliamentary systems 
• Oppression of human rights, including suppression of dissent 
• Collectivism by ethnicity, class and political creeds 
• A "progressive" agenda to benefit workers 
• Extreme nationalism
• Pervasive propaganda
• Militaristic government (usually).

Liberal Fascists Are NOT Progressives

In "The Art of War" Sun Tzu wrote: "The clever combatant imposes his will on the enemy, but does not allow the enemy's will to be imposed on him." NEVER give your enemy any advantage, for if you do, you will have already lost half the battle. "War is a mere continuation of politics by other means" wrote Carl Von Clausewitz. He who controls the language, controls the debate.

Progressivism (Liberal Fascism) has led to some of the most brutal, violent, oppressive regimes in modern history. The clever use of words to represent an opposite meaning is Orwellian Newspeak. Never tolerate the overt lies that are Newspeak. Look for the truth. Note the number of far Left groups that use the term "American" in their title, such as "People for the American Way. They are not "American" at all; if fact they are "Un-American" or "Anti American." Do not allow "Progressives" to impose their language on you, or you will become the vanquished.
