Which of these statements by Barack Obama is true? ANSWER: Neither! "We will be out of Afghanistan by the end of this year. Combat operations in Afghanistan have ended." --Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama
At about 21:39 in this YouTube video interview of 28 January 2011, President Obama declares, "As I said, we will be out of Afghanistan by the end of this year." Then he declares, "Combat operations in Afghanistan have ended." Neither of these statements is accurate. The Commander-in-Chief of American Forces confused Afghanistan with Iraq. Just imagine if President George W. Bush had made such a mistake. The American media would have beat him over the head as a stupid pawn of Dick Cheney, or worse. Instead, the press has almost entirely ignored Obama's ignorance.
IMAGINE Media Reaction -- If Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachman had said such a thing, even though neither one of them is the leader of the Free World, as is Barack Obama.

Reminds me of George Bush's infamous 'mission accomplished' nonsense.
Whilst always eager to get involved, which has been a saviour in the past, the form, judgement and knowledge of recent US Presidents from both sides is a little embarrassing!
"the form, judgement and knowledge of recent US Presidents from both sides is a little embarrassing!" AMEN! Actually, MORE than a little embarrassing and we can only blame US voters and those who have contributed to the voters' IGNORANCE - the US Media, US Educators and Hollywood.
