Obamacare Champion Loses Insurance Plan

Unintended Consequences: The Hammer of Obama's Revenge on Republicans is also hitting Obama's Middle Class non-Elites.

This is incredibly sad, so why am I finding it difficult to resist a little schadenfreude? I guess I am just human, or perhaps I am remembering all those charges of RACIST HATERS hurled at those of us who criticized "The Plan" before it was passed with no Republican votes and without any Democrat legislators bothering to read it.
She was a nurse for 35 years and championed Obamacare, until she received a letter from her insurance company saying it was canceling her policy. ... 'I really just wanted him to know … I was so hopeful that this plan was going to move us forward, but in fact I think it’s moving us backward,' Wagner said." Colorado Woman Who Championed Obamacare Loses Insurance Plan « CBS Denver
ObamaCare was specifically designed to reward Obama's constituencies and to penalize those who support Republicans. Right off the bat Obama gave waivers to the Elites in his party so they would not suffer the wrath intended for Republicans. However, he didn't bother to protect his own supporters who look and act like Republicans - have jobs, pay taxes, so the hammer of revenge hitting Republicans is also hitting those pitiful, unsuspecting low-information Obama supporters. Nationwide at least 3.5 million people have received cancellation notices of their Health Insurance Plans that President Barack Obama had promised they could keep "PERIOD." So "Yes," the Obama administration explains, "unfortunately, a very small number of them will be loyal Democrats. Yes, so sad."

Obama Compares ObamaCare to Fugitive Slave Act of 1850

ObamaCare - ‘as destructive to personal and individual liberty as the Fugitive Slave Act.’

State Representative Bill O’Brien of New Hampshire compared Obamacare to the 19th century Fugitive Slave Act, saying "It is a law as destructive to personal and individual liberty as the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850."

Our always race conscious President Barack Obama picked up that comment and ran with it all the way to Maryland where he fully mocked O'Brien and had the shocked crowd of Obama fans roaring with delight: “The closer we get, the more desperate they get. I mean, over the last few weeks, the rhetoric has just been cranked up to a place I’ve never seen before,” Obama said. "You had a state representative somewhere say that it’s ‘as destructive to personal and individual liberty as the Fugitive Slave Act.’ Think about that: Affordable healthcare is worse than a law that lets slaveowners get their runaway slaves back. I mean, these are quotes. I’m not making this stuff up.

In reality, the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850, was destructive to the liberty of the enslaved, a small minority of America at that time. The ACA, also known as ObamaCare, is destructive to the liberties of almost 100% of free Americans in 2013. I say "almost" 100%, because Obama's elites have been granted relief from having to enroll in ObamaCare. And to quote the President "I'm not making this stuff up."

Cuccinelli's Loss in Virginia due to GOP Treachery

"I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue!" --Barry Goldwater

Virginia Republicans described Cuccinelli as an Extremist and say that is why they fought against him and supported the Democrat McAuliffe. However, the Washington Examiner’s Tim Carney writes, “Virginia’s Ken Cuccinelli would arguably be the most libertarian governor in the United States.” Cuccinelli has an A rating from the NRA; he promised to cut the income-tax rate 15% for individuals, 33% for corporations; he was against expanding the death penalty; he fought against the smoking ban; he fought Obamacare from the start; and he opposed Medicaid expansion. He was endorsed by both Ron and Rand Paul.

A Republican Operative in Virginia described Ken Cuccinelli as an Extremist that the Republican Party of Virginia found too repugnant to support. The political guru said that Ken Cuccinelli was mean to Virginia's Republicans calling them names "... you all are not pure enough for me ... you are a bunch of worthless RINOs ... you should move." So the Republican Party of Virginia nominated him as its Standard Bearer anyway. Then Ken said: "Hey why aren't you supporting me and sending me tons of money ... what is wrong with you Virginia GOP?" So the Virginia Republicans took revenge on Extremist Ken by supporting a Leftist Democrat for Virginia Governor, Terry McAuliffe. That made perfect third-grader sense. However, Ken Cuccinelli got even in the long run, because his loss reveals the true nature of the Virginia Republican Party and the National Republican Party too. Up until last night, naive Tea Partiers, Conservatives, Libertarians, Evangelicals had believed their home was in the Republican Party. Now they find the truth revealed that Republicans really despise them and their ilk and judge their creed as "icky, neanderthal." Extremist Ken Cuccinelli - turning Republicans into Whigs with one resounding loss.

Establishment Republicans Teach Tea Party a Lesson in Virginia
"A loss by Ken Cuccinelli was supposed to have been a wake-up call to the tea party that deeply conservative candidates couldn’t win in swing states like Virginia. Instead, the GOP nominee’s near-miss in Tuesday’s race for governor has only deepened the party’s ideological divide."
Going into Election Day, Republicans in the Old Dominion and beyond expected their nominee to suffer a humiliating defeat to Democrat Terry McAuliffe so they could then taunt their Skunks at the Garden Party: "Na, Na Na, we told you this would happen." But the plan blew up in the GOP's face, for when the election results came in, the margin was only two and one half (2 ½) points. Had there been just a little more help from the Establishment Republicans, a Tea Party Skunk could have won the governorship. What a revolting development. Ronald Reagan said "somebody who agrees with you 80% of the time is an 80% friend not a 20% enemy,” and he had contempt for the Rockefeller wing of the Republican Party (today's moderate or liberal Republicans), which feeling was mutual. Pat yourselves on the back Republican GOP geniuses for making sure your party is not big enough to include Conservatives and Tea Partiers.

Establishment Republicans who actively supported Terry McCauliffe against Republican Nominee Ken Cuccinelli:
"When Cuccinelli’s “moderate” Republican rival for the nomination, the state’s former Lt. Governor, publicly attacked Cuccinelli and privately urged donors not to support him, the DC Establishment said nothing. Had a conservative done the same to a moderate Republican—taken his marbles and gone home when he did not win the primary—the uproar would have been deafening." (The Republican Establishment Lost Virginia)
Bill Bolling, Virginia's Lieutenant Governor, miffed that he did not win the gubernatorial nomination, went on to question Cuccinelli’s electability, praised Democrat nominee Terry McAuliffe, and, although he eventually opted against it, publicly weighed a campaign to torpedo Cuccinelli’s chances in the general election. Lying Leads to Lying about Lies

Lying About Lies - Why Credibility Matters to Obama. The president is trying to reinvent the history of his "you-can-keep-it promise" on Obamacare.

Why do we fret about Progressives like Barack Obama lying? Truth is not the goal of any Progressive. The Progressives goal is to retain their political viability, to keep their community of collectivists together, and to protect their own earnings and property. They are pragmatists, if nothing else, and their lies are an end that justifies the means.

In addition, for Barack Obama, Taqqiya is probably ingrained in the roots of his cultural upbringings by a Muslim father and Muslim stepfather in Indonesia. Taqqiya is accepted as religious dissimulation, or a legal dispensation to commit illegal or blasphemous acts when there is risk of persecution by non-Muslims.
The basic interpretation of "the end justifies the means" (from Aeria Gloris
"At the beginning of an action I might not be able to determine whether that action is morally right or wrong, but when the morally right goal is successfully achieved, then the steps which led to it must be morally right too."
When a little twist is introduced to this interpretation, it becomes: "I shall do a minor evil to achieve a greater good." or "My aim for greater good makes all the evils I have done right."
If we set the game of morality aside, "the end justifies the means" becomes "the result proves the means to be efficient" - which is somewhat obvious.
What can we learn from "the end just justifies the means"? From a moral standpoint, we can say that the morality of an act can be determined only at the point in time when it is committed; we have to make a decision with insufficient information, and it is only the intent at that point which determines the morality of the action. On the contrary, if we would presume that the morality of an act can be determined at a later time with more information present, then we could conclude that we could determine it with greater accuracy at an even later point in time - and so on, at which point the question of morality loses sense.
Morality aside, "the end justifies the means" teaches us not to shoot ourselves in the foot: If the vision, the goal which we have set ourselves is incomplete, then the worst thing that could happen to us is to accomplish that goal with all means necessary. At that point, we would realize that the goal we have set ourselves is not the goal we have desired - we have failed to clearly create our vision.
By focusing only on a small part of the complete vision, we may ignore and mess up the rest. Be careful what you want, because you might get it. And when you do, no amount of justification will help you.
(Although mostly attributed to Machiavelli, the phrase "the end justifies the means" is not one of his creations.)

A Second Bill of Rights for America

The nascence of all of our American collectivist troubles began with President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a 19th century man, implementing 19th century collectivist ideas on a nation that was founded by 18th century men of Enlightenment. It happened in the 20th century, on January 11, 1944. In the near seventy years since Roosevelt's speech, all the 19th century Marxist ideas he espoused have failed miserably resulting in the collectivist governments murdering more than 200 million of their own citizens.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Second Bill of Rights have shaped the beliefs of the American progressive movement towards domestic policy ever since. The rights that FDR cited are:
  • The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the nation;
  • The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;
  • The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living;
  • The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;
  • The right of every family to a decent home;
  • The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;
  • The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;
  • The right to a good education.
From Dear Liberal - Here's Why I Am So Hostile
Take a moment to ponder the real Bill of Rights that was bequeathed to us by the Founders James Madison and George Mason, both men of the Enlightenment. Their document guaranteed to us freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to petition the government, freedom to bear arms, freedom from illegal search and seizure, whilst taking no rights from our fellow citizens. The real Bill of Rights guarantees our real human rights as an unconditional possession, not something provided by the labor of others.

Contrast that to FDR's "Bill of Rights" which is really a "List of Demands" upon the worker bees of the nation, your fellow citizens. Roosevelt's "Second Bill of Rights" guarantees every citizen a job, food, clothing, recreational expenses, price fixing for farmers, businesses free of "unfair" competition and domination, a decent home, medical care, education, and protection from old age, sickness, accident and unemployment. Good Lord - What a List of Demands! Roosevelt's collectivist mind redefined basic human rights and required that these "new" basic human rights be paid for by working Americans, the 50% of Americans who pay taxes.

African-Americans Don't Like being African?

How's 'Sub-Sharan-African-American' Sound?

Morgan Freeman today weighed in noting that political correctness has forced upon him the label of “African” in the term “African-American.” He doesn't like it one bit, as he says he is not African. "I mean, you get — politically correct stuff happens that you don’t want to happen. I all of a sudden became an African — political correctness, African-American. I’m not African.

MORGAN FREEMAN TALKS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS: 'I all of a sudden became an African.'

Really? Who knew? Morgan Freeman's comment would be unbelievable if we had not already become accustomed to the capriciousness of the First Black President, Barack Obama, after these past five years.

For the multiple grievances filed, redressed, endured, it has come to this? African-Americans don't want to be African any more? Morgan Freeman's folk decided long ago that they were no longer Negroes except when someone is donating to the United Negro College Fund. They preferred "Colored" as in "People of Color." Eventually, it became a terrible slur to use that word so they went so far as to change the name of their beloved National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to the "N - Double A - CP," NAACP. Then they decided that "Black" was beautiful, until for some reason known only to them, Black lost its luster, ... except for the Congressional Black Caucus. During all their own name-changings, their political correctness went as far as renaming White Caucasians as European-Americans which no real Americans appreciated.

Now the Black Colored Non-Causcasian African-Americans have decided they don't like being African any more. Maybe they don't want to be confused with the real African immigrants who have come to America in recent years. Well, knock yourselves out guys deciding who you really are. The rest of us are no longer interested. We know who we are, as you have called us Racist too many times.

As for me, myself, I am a real African American, so don't go nuts calling me Racist. My paternal grandfather came from South Africa, and until the 1980s, it never dawned on me that I could be identified as "African-American." However my connection to Africa is but one generation away, far closer than any of you all who were once clamoring to be titled "African-American." I have no idea how you now want to be identified. Perhaps you will go for the more precise nomenclature of "Sub-Sharan-African-American." Whatever floats you boat ... for a while at least.

I'm White, that's okay with me. I'm Caucasian and that's okay too as it is my race. I don't identify as African-American nor European-American, so you can call me that if you must, but I won't answer. I'm just plain American - that is my nationality. So sorry that you got bamboozled by all that Political Correctness going around and got turned into Africans against your will. That is sad, but it is really your own damn fault.

Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia, Ridicules Congressional Hearings

Has anyone ever seen a US Congressman ridiculing something as serious as the IRS discriminating against Americans because of their political beliefs? Here is one, Democrat Representative Gerry Connolly, the lowest of the low, elected by the voters of Fairfax and Annandale, Virginia. He also walked out on the parents of the murdered Americans in Benghazi when they were asked to testify. He is my congressman.

Democrat Congressman Gerald Connolly asked Sarah Hall Ingram, who is overseeing the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) at the IRS, if she is a witch, mocking his Republican colleagues.
